Semaphore is a system for sending messages using hand-held flags. Now to communicate, scouts do not need to remember the semaphore because they just need to play their fingers for SMS or making a call.
This year scout jamboree is supported by advanced technologies. One of the vendors provides the technology is Motorola. In collaboration with PT INTI and PT Intelligent Networks, Motorola shows to public that broadband technology is affordable and can be enjoyed by everybody. Under MOTOwi4, there are four technologies introduced at the scout jamboree: canopy solution, backhaul, broadband power line and mesh. According to Wahyu Haryadi, Junior Account Manager, Networks Motorola, the technologies are interesting alternatives for cheap but high quality communication. With the technologies, video conference can be enjoyed clearly and inexpensive.
Wahyu said that the jamboree was chosen to demonstrate the technology as an effort to introduce network technology to youth and in addition, it’s a national event. The jamboree participants are potential players in the future cellular telecommunication industry.
